INDUSTRY’S FIRST - Butylene Glycol based cleanse/prep solution.
Unlike the traditional primers made with Ethanol or Isopropyl alcohol LM No Rinse Deep Cleanse is based on Butylene Glycol. Why will this change the entire perception of primers in the industry?
Molecular Structure and Volatility:
Regular Alcohol (Ethanol / Isopropyl):
These are small, simple, short-chain molecules. They have a very low boiling point and evaporate almost instantly when applied to a surface. As they evaporate, they flash dry everything in their path.
VS
Butylene Glycol:
This is a diol (a double-alcohol molecule). It has a much larger molecular structure and a high boiling point, meaning it does not evaporate rapidly into the air. Instead, it remains on the surface to do its job.
Moisture Stripping vs. Moisture Retaining (Humectant):
Regular Alcohol:
It is a powerful solvent and astringent. It completely strips away natural lipids, oils, and moisture barriers. On hair or lashes, this creates a bone-dry, brittle cuticle.
Butylene Glycol:
It functions primarily as a humectant. Because of its molecular structure, it actually attracts moisture from the surrounding air and binds it to the hair (lash). It cleanses and prepares the surface without depleting the water content inside the lash.
And finally,
How They Affect Lash Adhesive Bonding:
Regular Alcohol:
By over-drying the natural lash, it removes the microscopic moisture particles that lash adhesive actually needs to bond to the lash properly - ever noticed how hard it is to stick the extension to Nonce you use regular primer?Initial weak, brittle bond leads to poor retention although you did "all the steps" of prep.
Butylene Glycol:
It cleanses the lash surface of oils and dirt while keeping the hair structure hydrated. This allows the adhesive to bond much easier. Because lash adhesives thrive on a perfectly balanced, slightly alkaline surface, the glue grabs instantly and locks into place seamlessly-resulting in flawless, extended retention your clients will notice.
How to use:
1.Use LashMakers foam cleanser to wash the lashes and pat dry.
2.Use a small amount of No Rinse Deep Cleanse solution on microfiber brush to clean the natural lashes as a second step when working on full set OR use it after removing the outgrown lash extensions if it’s a lash fill. Dry with air fan and proceed to apply lash extensions
